(Poor) performance management

How to redirect performance and/or attitude problems (yes to the person / no to the behavior).

Help your managers know how to manage their team members who have a poor performance or attitude, in order to redirect the situation.

Target audience

This training is aimed at managers who manage teams of 2 or more people, regardless of their level of seniority.

Summary of contents

We review the factors that make it easier for someone to DO what we ask them to do.

We analyze which ones make it easier for someone NOT to perform as well as we expect.

We worked on the 3 ways in which we as managers can help a person to improve his or her performance A) Change ourselves: What and how. B) Change the environment: What and how. C) Help the person change him/herself: Realignment meeting.

We practice how to conduct a realignment meeting, with the goal of helping the person realize that we do want them on the team, but that they need to change some of their behavior.
